Absentee voting for the November 5th General Election begins Tuesday, September 24th. For the first four weeks of the six week absentee voting period, voters who provide a valid reason may cast a ballot either: a) in-person, in the County Clerk’s office; or b) by mail.
During the last two weeks prior to the election, voters may cast a ballot in-person without needing to provide a reason (“no excuse” or ‘early voting’).
To apply to receive an absentee ballot by mail, voters must send an application to the County Clerk’s office. Applications may be obtained by clicking HERE or by calling 417-859-VOTE(8683).
