If you are not registered to vote in the County that you consider your permanent residence – and you wish to be eligible to vote on November 3, 2020 – you need to act quickly. The deadline is this Wednesday, October 7th at 5pm.
The fastest way to register is to go to the Missouri Secretary of State’s website, and complete an online registration. However, if you prefer the security of registering to vote in person, we encourage you to come to the Courthouse in Marshfield (101 S. Crittenden Street) and register in the office of County Clerk (Room 12). Other locations to register in Webster County include – the license bureau; libraries in Marshfield, Rogersville, and Seymour; and any city hall.
In Missouri, voter registration is based upon your county of residence. So, if you are registered to vote in your current county of residence, you may change your address at any time – including election day. However, if you have moved to a different county since your last registration, you need to re-register by the deadline cited above.
If you have questions about your eligibility, please call us at: 417-859-VOTE (8683).
